Grant Eligibility Quiz

Pre-application Overview

This is the Christian Sharing Fund’s Eligibility Quiz for community organizing grants program. The Eligibility Quiz is the necessary first step for an organization that wants to be considered for a local CSF grant and is not currently a CSF grantee. It is designed to help organizations understand CSF’s grant making criteria and guidelines and determine if they are eligible for consideration for a CSF community organizing grant.

CSF is an activity of the Office for Social Justice (OSJ) of the Archdiocese of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Useful information about the CSF including its history, grant making philosophy and criteria is available on this website. Interested organizations should review the information contained on this web sight in addition to this quiz before deciding to submit an applicaton.

OSJ knows that organizational resources are valuable and too often scarce. Some organizations will review the CSF information and complete the quiz and find themselves non-eligible. OSJ hopes the quiz with the information provided on the web will save these organizations the larger investment of resources required to complete the full grant application.
Organizations that decide to request a CSF application must submit the Eligibility Quiz via the website or as an e-mail attachment to Cheryl Peterson, Program Administrator at petersonc@archspm.org. Eligibility Quizzes may be submitted between January 12th and February 26th. OSJ recommends submitting your Eligibility Quiz well in advance of the February 26th deadline, to help with our processing and to give eligible applicants more time with the full application.

OSJ will review all quizzes and notify organizations via e-mail as to our determination on eligibility. Submissions that are found to be eligible will receive an email with a full application by March 5th. Full applications are due by March 19th. OSJ’s grant staff is available year round to answer questions about our grant programs and application process.
